Against exoectation also the ones that are set to wait for a Go command. I quickly checked the Windows services list and indeed the Bvckup service was not shown as running. After (re)starting Bvckup, all backups start to run. When I started the GUI today, it notified me that the service was not running. multiple backups (for some) simultaneously. But on the other machine, the Bvckup service didnt start any more since the update to 80.1 (thats at least 6 Windows boots where the service didnt start). A Job is Being Unable to Rename a Specific Filename. The program can back up any folder on your hard drive, including network locations. There’s a single Add new backup button displayed when the software is first started. Pausing is primarily meant for short-term suspension of a running backup, when you just need to take off *all* load from the system *now*. Source files not found if app run at startup, but ok if I run manually. Backup Performance Bvckup’s interface is delightfully simple. The principal difference between pausing-resuming and cancelling-re-running is that latter will involve a fresh rescan of both locations. In other words, if you have 1,000,000 files to back up, you run the backup and cancel it after it processes first 300,000 files, then on the next run it will process just 700,000 files, not the full million. ![]() "Start again" means that it will scan the source and destination folders, compare them, understand what's the same and what's different, and then it will reconcile the differences. It won't re-copy everything if that's what you are worried about. Let it be known Bvckup is the first backup program Ive managed to use somewhat consistently.
